History

As a former employee of Presence Online (makers of Aptrix and now packaged as part of IBM's Lotus Workplace Web Content Management or LWWCM) I have been working in Content Management for over 7 years.

I also have significant experience and knowledge in many other web technologies. I have been working in web design for over 12 years.

I have extensive knowledge and experience using the following:

Experience & Projects

I have been working in HTML since 1991, while studying a Computer Science / Computer Systems Engineering (Double) degree at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. I began developing and programming commercial web sites and launched Wartook Gardens Grampians Bed & Breakfast (http://www.wartookgardens.com.au/) in 1995.

After moving to the UK in September 2000, and joining POL, I began my career as a web consultant. With 7 years Aptrix / LWWCM experience behind me, I have now consulted for several large companies, including:

I have also worked as a Technical Team-Lead and senior Content Management Consultant for the front-end development for Norwich Union's (the UK's Largest Insurer) global intranet. And as a Technical Team-Lead and senior consultant for front-end development of AMP's e-commerce / investment site (AMPLE).
