I have a long history with LWWCM (formally known as Aptrix) and the founding company - Presence Online. I used to work for Presence Online and since my first use of Aptrix 7 years ago, I have continually developed my significant skill set in both the Domino and Java editions. I have even requested and developed features that are now part of the products.
I have developed my own set of "best practices" for IWWCM (Aptrix) which has been updated continually. In the Domino Edition, I avoid using and recommending, server-side intensive Lotus Script for solutions as much as possible. I have also been directly involved in the development of the web publishing interface, and extensive testing has been done for Word 97/2000/2002(XP). Using the web publishing interface, publishers do not require a Lotus Notes Client, and with a valid login, can create content from anywhere they have internet access.
I can also advise you on the tricks / traps and workarounds available for LWWCM.

I has also been involved in web design since 1995. I have been coding commercial web sites and intranets on client sites, since 2000.
